Kenbrook is an everyday pattern in the literal sense: bright mirror finish, 18/0 stainless, four complete five-piece settings, limited lifetime warranty. It is the base version of a family that also appears in textured black and textured champagne, and it is the one that goes with whatever is already in the cupboard.
Why the plain version works
Colored and textured finishes are a commitment; a bright polish is not. Kenbrook reflects whatever sits on the table, so it suits the plates you have now and the ones that replace them in five years. Choosing it is mostly a decision not to decide anything.
Five pieces per seat
Four dinner knives, four dinner forks, four salad forks, four dinner spoons, four teaspoons. That is the standard American place setting four times over, and it means a dinner for four never runs into the drawer of odd survivors from older patterns stored behind the tray.
Steel, warranty, dishwasher
The 18/0 stainless is durable and rust resistant, and the set is dishwasher safe with a limited lifetime warranty behind it. There is no hand-wash clause and no polishing step. The maintenance plan amounts to putting the pieces away dry, which most dishwashers handle on their own.
