Easton Satin plays two textures against each other on a single piece: the handle is brushed matte, the head polished bright. The handles flare at the base and carry sleek spheres along their length, which is about as much shape as a modern pattern allows itself. Twenty pieces make four five-piece settings in 18/10 stainless steel.
Matte handle, bright head
Holding a satin handle while looking at a polished bowl is a small trick that reads as deliberate. Fingerprints land on the part you grip, where the brushed texture hides them, and the shine stays on the part facing the table. Two-finish patterns look cleaner mid-meal than all-mirror ones for exactly this reason.
Spheres and the flared base
The decoration is geometric rather than floral: spheres set into the handle and a base that widens before it meets the stem. Across four settings the repeated shape gives a laid table some rhythm without anything that could fairly be called a motif or a border.
18/10 and the dishwasher
The step up to 18/10 stainless adds ten percent nickel alongside the chromium, which deepens the color of the steel and raises its resistance to corrosion. The set is dishwasher safe, so the heavier specification does not arrive with heavier upkeep attached to it.
