This is the plate half of Merry & Bright: four porcelain dinner plates, service for four. The collection sells by the shape, so the plates can go onto a table where the bowls and the glassware already match something else entirely. Imported, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, which is the same handling as everyday dinnerware with no exceptions made for the season.
The plate does the decorating
Of the three shapes in a place setting, the dinner plate is the one guests look at longest and the one that food leaves the least room on. Four of them shift the character of a table faster than any other single purchase, and they do it without touching the rest of what is already in the cabinet.
Washed, not admired
