Everdine was drawn for repetition. No scrollwork, no border, no loud details, just a satin surface and real weight when you pick a fork up. The twenty pieces make four complete settings, and the 18/0 steel is meant for a dishwasher cycle most days of the week rather than a cabinet shelf behind glass.
Weight you notice first
Finish and weight are what separate flatware by feel, and Everdine sits on the heavy side. A heavier fork stays put on the plate instead of tipping when you set it down, and a heavier knife does more of the cutting work on its own. Nothing about the shape announces this; the hand finds it immediately.
Satin over shine
The satin finish puts a soft, even sheen on the steel in place of a reflection. It hides water spots and fingerprints better than a mirror polish, which counts most on the handles, and it keeps the set looking the same whether the room is lit by a window or a bulb overhead.
Four settings, five pieces each
The box contains four dinner knives, four dinner forks, four salad forks, four dinner spoons, and four teaspoons. The 18/0 stainless steel is rust resistant and washes clean in the machine, so the whole set can stay in daily rotation with nothing held back for special use.
