About the pattern
A Community-line 18/8 pattern sold here as a single place setting and a six-piece serving set. Owners dating an older Marquette should look for the cube mark on the back of the handle, which places the piece no earlier than 1965.
Community is the oldest brand name still on Oneida flatware, carried over from the silverplate line that started at the turn of the twentieth century.
No introduction year is published for Marquette.
