Tuscany is the most pictorial pattern here. A scroll shaped like a stylized grapevine travels from the square tip of the handle to the narrow point of the neck, where it dissolves into the mirrored finish of the wide bowls. Around it the handle is bead-blasted, with a band accent at the tip. Twenty pieces, four settings.
Where the vine goes
The scroll starts at the squared end of the handle and tapers with it, thinning out as the handle narrows and then disappearing into polished metal at the bowl. It is a motif with a direction, which is rarer than it sounds; most decorated flatware repeats a border and leaves it at that.
Hi-luster against bead-blasted
The high-shine scroll is set off by a bead-blasted handle surface, so two textures share each piece: bright organic line, matte ground, and a polished band at the tip to close it. The bowls stay fully mirrored, which keeps the heavily worked handles from making the whole thing look busy.
Twenty pieces that stay put
Four each of salad or dessert fork, place fork, place knife, place spoon and teaspoon, all in 18/0 stainless. The steel is durable and the set is dishwasher safe and never needs polishing, so the detail in the handle collects nothing worse than water that dries off.
