The long version of Tress earns its piece count on the extras. Beyond the expected eight knives, dinner forks, salad forks and dinner spoons, the box holds sixteen teaspoons rather than eight, plus eight tall drink spoons for iced tea and deep glasses. Six serving pieces finish it. The pattern itself stays plain and mirror finished, drawn for casual restaurants as much as for home.

Double teaspoons, on purpose

Teaspoons are the piece that vanishes: coffee, cereal, the jar left open on the counter. Sixteen of them in a service for eight is a straightforward admission of how flatware gets used, and it is the main argument for this configuration over the shorter Tress boxes.

Tall drink spoons, rarely included

Eight long-handled spoons come packed, the kind that reach the bottom of an iced tea or a sundae glass. Few services include them at all, and adding eight later in a matching pattern depends entirely on the pattern still being in production when you go looking.

Light in the hand, by design

Oneida describes the pattern as extra strong but delicately light, a deliberate split from the heavy restaurant sets. Lighter flatware is easier through a long meal and easier for small hands, and across sixty-two pieces it also means a drawer that does not fight you when you pull it open.
