Reyna 45-Piece 18/0 Silverware Set for 8

Reyna’s hammered handles carry dimpled notches that read as hand-worked, which is unusual to find across a whole service for eight.

Reyna takes the plainest shape in flatware and puts texture on it. The handles are hammered into dimpled notches that catch light unevenly, the way worked metal does, so the set looks crafted rather than stamped out. Forty-five pieces cover eight five-piece settings plus a five-piece serving set, in 18/0 stainless with a limited lifetime warranty behind it.
Texture that hides a multitude
A dimpled surface scatters reflections instead of returning them cleanly, so fingerprints and faint water marks disappear into the pattern rather than sitting on top of it. Mirror-finished sets show every touch. This one does not, and at a long table that is worth more than it sounds.
The serving pieces, as listed
The five servers are given as two serving spoons, a sugar spoon, a butter knife and a serving fork. Two spoons is a different split from the usual solid-and-pierced pairing, and it suits households that put out a second vegetable dish more often than they drain one.
Artisanal look, ordinary upkeep
Nothing about the hammering changes the care. The 18/0 alloy resists rust through routine machine washing and the pattern is dishwasher safe, so pieces go in without ceremony. The texture does not need hand-drying to look the way it looked in the box.
